Thank you for your question about supporting your gums and fighting receding gums. There's just something special about the nutrient-healing properties of our Gum Restore which combines Beef Liver, Bone and Marrow, Thymus, Tracheal Cartilage along with vitamin D3 and magnesium. This makes a world of difference! We all have the ability to restore our receding gums.
Our Gum Restore formula is designed to support gum health by providing key nutrients that can help address gum disease, receding gums, and promote overall oral health. You've got nothing to lose, give it a try, and if you're not happy, I'm not happy so will happily fully refund your order for you.
People with periodontal issues (e.g. deep pockets, recurrent infection, bone loss/recession, etc.) will also need additional support from whole bone extract (bone, marrow and cartilage), CoQ10 (or Beef Heart) and collagen. Ideally, we would consume these nourishing nutrients by indulging in the deliciousness of true bone broth, bone marrow and organ meats (heart is the richest source of CoQ10 that exists in nature). These additional like-supports-like nutrients could easily be the missing link to the strength, energy and other health benefits that we are all after. Gum Restore contains Bone and Marrow and collagen but not heart, so I suggest getting some heart on board from Ancestral Supplements.
Studies showed that when a CoQ10 tissue deficiency approaches 25% there is almost always gum disease present. These findings clearly suggested that Coenzyme Q10 is beneficial to properly repair gum tissue.
Because it is an antioxidant, there is a dearth of new information for coenzyme Q10 in the treatment of periodontal conditions. The pharmacology of coenzyme Q10 indicates that it may be an agent for treatment of periodontitis. On the basis of on new concepts of synergism with nutritional supplements and host response, coenzyme Q10 may possibly be effective as a topical and/or systemic role or adjunctive treatment for periodontitis either as a stand-alone biological or in combination with other synergistic antioxidants (i.e., vitamins C and E). - Role of coenzyme Q10 as an antioxidant and bioenergizer in periodontal diseases
Gum Restore contains Liver, Bone and Marrow, Tracheal Cartilage, Thymus, Magnesium and Vitamin D3
WHY WE ADDED THESE FOODS
- Beef Liver - supports your dental and overall health as the most nutrient dense superfood
- Grass Fed Bone and Marrow - supports your teeth, bones and gums with phosphorus, calcium, collagen and more nutrients only found in bone and marrow
- Bovine Tracheal Cartilage - for gum support and cartilage support
- Grass Fed Thymus - this is for immune support when dealing with chronic and / or recurrent infections, supports the immune response
- Magnesium - helps with hundreds of biological functions in the body
- Vitamin D3 - get this from sensible sunshine, wild fish eggs from your local market, to support absorption of calcium in the small intestines, supports immune health and supports cell growth
Vitamin K2 - get this from fermented veggies like kimchi, sauerkraut or natto (MK-7) and get this from marrow, organ meats and wild fish eggs (MK-4), also funnels calcium and phosphorus to your bones and teeth. *NOTE: Bone marrow, organ meats and wild fish eggs are rich in vitamin K2 (the MK-4 variety) and the other fat-soluble nutrients
- — Vitamins A, D, and K2 cooperate synergistically not only with each other, but also with essential minerals like magnesium and zinc, with dietary fat, and with key metabolic factors like thyroid hormone.*
- — Vitamins A, D, and K2 interact synergistically to support energy metabolism, immune health, provide for adequate growth, support strong bones and teeth, and protect soft tissues from calcification.*
- — Magnesium is required for the production of all proteins, including those that interact with vitamins A and D.
For those that need intensive support to regain your dental strength and health, consider practicing a ketogenic diet as a "supplement" to everything above. Ketosis helps to deprive the bad bacteria of an energy source... less energy means less fermentation... means less acidic byproducts to demineralize teeth and bone (think recession). It's also incredibly helpful to swish with sea salt water throughout the day, and especially after eating and drinking, to maintain a balanced pH.
The take home message here is live life in harmony with nature, the way of our early ancestors… love your bone soups, look to liver, get sensible sun exposure, eat your fermented foods (natto reigns supreme) and mind your magnesium. If you want fresh breath, brush your teeth. If you want oral health, nourish your body!
There’s also a wonderful book by Ramiel Nagel called "Cure Tooth Decay." Have you read this or are you familiar with the principles outlined in it?
We put the care, attention and quality assurance into our products as if we are giving them to our own family... because we are!
If at any time you feel that you're not getting what you want out of our products, please send me a message... I'd like to try to help. I will always be here for any questions or concerns that you may have.
P.S. As far as brushing goes, by all means, do it when you feel like it... we recommend using a Bass brush (or) a chewing stick just like our early ancestors did which shows parallel, or even greater efficacy, as compared to standard brushing. Do not brush aggressively as this can damage the gums. Functional dentists suggest the most effective way to get rid of the unhelpful bacteria which produce acid which damages your enamel is to deprive them of sugars that they consume and turn into acid.
